Kentucky Health and Life
Maggie Woods (Director) on Insurance for Kentucky Consumer Guide.
The Health and Life Division regulates insurance companies and health maintenance organizations offering various types of health and life insurance products. Through application of statutory requirements, the division reviews policy forms, certificates, applications, rate filings, life settlements contracts and other forms as necessary to assure that the health and life products being offered in Kentucky meet the applicable statutory and regulatory standards. The Health and Life Division works directly with the Office of Legal Services and the Consumer Protection Division on matters such as consumer complaints.
The Consumer Guide to Long-Term Care Insurance in Kentucky, the Guide to Health Insurance for People with Medicare, the Life Insurance Buyer's Guide, the Annuity Buyer's Guide and the Life Settlement Buyers Guide are available upon request free of charge. Publications and others items of interest to Kentuckians also are available online.
If you think you might be a beneficiary under a life insurance policy or an annuity contract and have not received a claim settlement, you may be entitled to unclaimed funds.
