Mr. Johnson focuses on governance, mergers and acquisitions, public and private securities offerings, debt and equity financing's and commercial contracts.  Previously, Mr. Johnson was in-house counsel with Southern California Edison, where he was the lead regulatory attorney for large-scale purchase of renewable energy from independent power producers, and provided advice on contractual matters, energy policy and political developments relating to energy regulation. Prior to that, he was an associate with Bryan Cave LLP, where he handled the defense of product liability and contract claims for several Fortune 200 clients.  He served as clerk to the Hon. Paul Boland, California Court of Appeal.
